Welcome to Huisartsen Ganzenhoef

See below for information about Covid-19.

Huisartsen Ganzenhoef exists since 2015 and is situated opposite Ganzenpoort shopping center. The following doctors are working at Huisartsen Ganzenhoef: Maurice Bom, Marc van der Pas and Addy van der Woude (photo). We are enthusiastic GP’s who want to deliver GP care to the residents of the Bijlmer in a modern and personal way. Together we have years of experience as general practitioner in Amsterdam Zuidoost.

Unfortunately, we currently do not accept new patients in our practice. In order to continue to provide good healthcare, we want to set limits to the size of our practice.

We offer the opportunity to arrange a lot of your healthcare online with us. Look for “About the app” in the menu bar. Of course, this connection is fully protected. When asked, our assistant is happy to answer you.

COVID-19 INFORMATION

For information on vaccination against SarsCoV2 see coronavaccinatie.nl, RIVM Q&A about the corona vaccin and also this film, this film and this film. You can also call the national information number 0800-1351.

Since the last week of January, mobile people over 90 and 85 to 90 year olds have been invited to make an appointment for vaccination at the GGD. The invitation process for the 80-84 year olds runs from 5 February to the beginning of March, with the invitation from old to young, starting with the 84 year olds.

Not yet known when our practice can start vaccinating:

Vaccinations against COVID-19 are now being carried out on various fronts. We GPs contribute to this by vaccinating with the AstraZeneca vaccine. The first regions in the Netherlands have now received this vaccine. Our region and our general practice not yet. We do not yet know when we will receive the vaccine and when we can invite patients for vaccination.

Based on the advice of the Health Council, RIVM has determined that the first stock of vaccine must be used by general practitioners for the vaccination of:
• people born in 1956 and 1957
• 2 groups of patients with a high risk of a serious course of a COVID-19 infection:
1.Overweight people (a BMI of 40 or higher), born between 1-1-1956 and 31-12-2002 (18 - 64 years)
2.People with Down’s syndrome living at home, born between 1-1-1956 and 31-12-2002 (18 - 64 years)
If we know when we are going to receive vaccines and can start vaccinating, we will send the patients from these first groups an invitation for vaccination.
We do not know when other patients will be vaccinated. That is determined by the government.

Your GP is also available during the corona crisis for questions or complaints that you are worried about. You can contact our practice via telephone and internet, preferably via e-consultation via the portal. It is not possible to come directly to the practice.

The doctor’s assistant and / or the general practitioner will determine together with you what is best to do in your situation.

If necessary, we also see patients in the practice and have seperate moments where we see people with respiratory complaints and / or fever, where we use the necessary personal protective equipment.

In thepractice, a mouth mask is mandatory for patients, even without covid-19 related complaints. So come to the practice with a mouth mask. This obligation does not count for children up to and including 12 years old, unless there is a suspicion of Covid-19.

Due to the corona virus, we now have NO walk-in consultation hour. Making appointments online is NOT possible anymore.

Do you have a fever (temperature above 38 degrees) and a cough and/or shortness of breath? Then DO NOT come to the practice but call us! We can then estimate whether there is a risk of the new corona virus.

From 1 June, anyone with mild complaints that may indicate the coronavirus can call 0800-1202 to make an appointment for a test at the GGD. The number is free and available seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is also possible to request a test online from the GGD at rijksoverheid.nl/corontest.

For general information about the new corona virus there’s a national information number: 0800-1351 or when you’re abroad: +31-20-2051351

Start training General Practitioners

We started training general practitioners from 1 March. This means that a general practitioner trainee will be working at Huisartsen Ganzenhoef for a whole year. Sander Huttenhuis started with us on 1 March (see also team).
A general practitioner trainee is a graduated doctor who often has work experience as a doctor in a hospital. Dr. van der Pas and Dr. Bom are the supervisors this year.
You can therefore also be seen by the general practitioner trainee. He does independent consultation hours, but is closely supervised by us as a supervisor. We also discuss the consultations afterwards.
During a consultation you may be asked whether the conversation may be recorded. The video recordings are only used for training purposes and are always deleted after use. Permission will always be requested before a recording is started and you always have the right to refuse.
